T.E.A.R.S. primary goals and objectives are to Educate the general public of existing programs/funds available to victims of gang violence and violent crimes in order to create a heightened public awareness. To Educate All Responsible Societies "A non-profit International, Inc. Voluntary Foundation - dedicated to assist children and their families who are innocent victims of gang violence and violent crimes. Energized by International Chairperson Gigi Greene.. who is the founder and is the foundation number one volunteer since 1990. T.E.A.R.S. is the only agency fostering innocent victims and high-risk youths care.
As late as 1990, very little was done to assist innocent victims in that year; founder Gigi Greene got the ideal for the foundation, after a 12 year old girl who was crippled during a drive-by shooting. The Rodriguez family, in desperate need of support and care, and they weren't getting any kind of help. Gigi then formed a network of dedicated people to do something about it. Cindy Rodriguez family became T.E.A.R.S first Poster Child, this is how T.E.A.R.S. was born.. "T.E.A.R.S. feels that the communities should have the feeling that this is their effort." That basic philosophy of "Giving Life to Human Dignity" has animated T.E.A.R.S. ever since.
WHAT HAS T.E.A.R.S. DONE?.
T.E.A.R.S. provided burial funds for families such as The Version, The Jones, The Williams, The Peterson's, The Swancy's The Brown's The Young's and a host of others.
.T.E.A.R.S. provided supplemental financial assistance and medical supplies to such families as The Rodriguez, The Morales, The Carlton, The Hampton, The Coals, The Browns, Just to name a few.
T.E.A.R.S. communicates with all media, encouraging community organization, agencies, political groups, churches to support and educate the general public as well as encourage members to assist the innocent victims and high-risk youths.
WHAT ELSE DOES T.E.A.R.S. DO
T.E.A.R.S. does solicit funds to create films, TV shows, Plays, literature and scripts promoting positive solutions to gang violence and violent crimes under T.E.A.R.S. programs guidelines.
T.E.A.R.S. mount campaigns to urge the community of substance abuse and sales of drugs primitively rock cocaine that contribute much to cause of gang violence to unemployment and homelessness.
T.E.A.R.S. mount campaigns to urge the motion picture industry, films, cable and television whom have often exploited gang issues and people of color in a negative way in the development of their films, shows, programs, and music.

T.E.A.R.S.'s executive board evaluates T.E.A.R.S.'s performance monthly basis. T.E.A.R.S. will also request that nationally know organization, such as the United Way or the Junior League of America, evaluate it on a semi-annual basis.
