T.E.A.R.S. "To Educate All Responsible Societies" is a non-profit for children and their families who are innocent victims of gang violence and violent crimes. T.E.A.R.S. was founded in 1991. T.E.A.R.S provides medical service, medical equipment, referral service, housing relocation, funding psychological counseling, and emotional support.
T.E.A.R.S. is requesting partnership in financial support for its event/program entitled FunPark "Not Just For The Fun Of It. T.E.A.R.S. estimates that, in order to accomplish the even/programs and maintain the service thereafter, its financial requirement will approach $1.5 million annually.
T.E.A.R.S. also conducts an ongoing Violence Prevention Campaign through various community-based projects. FunPark "Not Just For The Fun Of It" event/program schedule to acquire funds at least $1.5 million by October 26, 2012 in order to commence operations at the desired and appropriate level. All monetary contribution to T.E.A.R.S. FunPark are tax-deductible. (1) T.E.A.R.S. event/program will raises money to assist children and their families victimized by gang violence; (2) Creates business, educational and recreational opportunities for young adults and children who might otherwise participate in gang activity; and (3) educates society about the extent and scope of gang-related activity, violence, and victimization in Los Angeles .
T.E.A.R.S. has developed several multi purpose events entitled FunPark 'NOT JUST FOR THE FUN OF IT" FunPark will manifest itself in twelve carnival styles recreational and encampments throughout Southern California Regions: Pacific, Metropolitan and Valley Los Angeles County Areas, once a month on weekends for one year, for a total of thirty-six appearances.
FunPark will target well over 100,000 people, from children, young adults, teenagers, families, adults, senior citizens, gang members, taggers, disadvantaged families, mentally disabled and handicapped, FunPark will promote peace and provide jobs, health awareness, entertainment and various information for everyone in the communities.
FunPark will bring neighborhoods together by providing varieties categories for everyone's participation in by providing education on health care, free tests for high blood, Aids, high risk heart attacks, TB, etc. By getting RED AND BLUE CROSS service involvement., information booths on job opportunities, awareness and pursuit, job training, legal issues, the law and legal aid, vocational and inspirational seminars, educational workshops, daily living skills, referral services, voter's education, aging and caring, dealing with changing society's health care, public issues, government bureaus and programs, fun, games, amusement park rides, movies, music, special celebrities and guest speakers, comedy shows, cultural and social actives, variety shows, sing along, competitive sports, etc.
AFTER FunPark LEAVES: T.E.A.R.S. has outline programs whereby gyms, 24 hour fitness, homeowners, renters, schools, government agencies, small and large businesses, department stores, super markets, hospitals, clinics, non-profit organizations, entertainment industries and news media can work together in achieving these purposes. By bringing people together; and we are focused on bringing families together, to workout and improve on living an active and healthier lifestyle.
T.E.A.R.S./FunPark hopes to melt down the walls which separate the departed parts of our California communities. T.E.A.R.S./FunPark campaign is also an inclusive campaign which will involve the high-risk youths, gang members and taggers by appealing to their better judgments and their core desire to work in harmony with their communities rather than operate outside of the mainstream of society.
T.E.A.R.S./FunPark seeks to reach them in ways that will persuade them to modify their behavior, rather than threaten them into changing their behavior. To assure success T.E.A.R.S./FunPark will obtain the participation of internationally acclaimed artists and personalities noted for their community services.
T.E.A.R.S. anticipates that it will derive approximately 80% of its funds from corporate sponsors, underwriters and the remaining 20% of its funds from private contributions.

Celebrites: By lending their names, popularity, and eanpower to T.E.A.R.S. and its projects, celebrities can demonstrate their concern for the community and encourage others to do so. Celebrities, like anyone else, will grow as individuals and reaching out to help those who are less fortunate. They will increase their propularity and become known for their humanitarian efforts. In.additio, as noted above, all financial contributions to T.E.A.R.S. are tax-deductible.
General Public: All citizens of Los Angeles gain by supporting T.E.A.R.S.'s efforts to make the City a safer, more compassionate, and more closely-knit place. Indiciduals also may deduct financial contributions to T.E.A.R.S. from taxes.
Other Non-Profit Organizations: Other non-profit organzations will benefits from T.E.A.R.S., particularly if they are also trying to solve gang-related or drug-related problems in the City. T.E.A.R.S. will will be able to effectuate positive change sooner and more efficiently if its efforts are coordinated with those of other n0n-profit organizations operating in the greater Los Angeles area or International.
